Good afternoon, I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July celebration if you're here in America. For those of you who don't celebrate the 4th of July, I hope you had a wonderful Thursday. I've been job hunting in Moore & am finding a lot of work out there that I'd like. They have couriers out there (must be an east coast thing) which is what I did for a living most of my working career, they have something called a Retail Pricing coordinator for a grocery store which looks like a job that I'd be good at & would enjoy, & the state is looking to hire people to work w/ vehicle registrations, another job that although doesn't pay very well, would have good benefits. Yeah, finding a job out there will be easy for me & w/ Kyle graduated, I can finally go back to work if I like. Kyle is looking into the colleges & universities out there for me to see if he may want to move w/ us & I looked into the Dorman HS colors so I can maybe incorporate those colors into items I crochet & knit once I'm out there. Nice colors ... light blue & dark blue. Technically, Columbia Blue & Navy. Using the local school colors is something I never did here in Texas, but a new home in a new area brings new ideas. Yesterday wasn't much of a holiday for me, while everyone else was out enjoying BBQs & watching fireworks, I was doing 12 solid hours of housecleaning & laundry. Still doing laundry ... besides being backed up w/ my normal laundry, it seems Pete & Kyle were in the habit of taking a new afghan every couple of days & never washing the one they replaced. Why they were constantly getting new ones, I don't know. But I can't was more than 3 afghans at a time & each set requires 2 full-length trips through the dryer. Comforters are going to be 1 at a time & will also require at least 2 trips through the dryer each. At least when this is over laundry will be completely caught up! I did a lot of other things like completely scrubbing the stove & making it like new, etc. Long, hard day yesterday w/ the housework. In between loads of laundry I did manage to get other things done, like having bacon for breakfast, surfing eBay, & checking facebook & taking my game turns. OK, I got THREE things done yesterday besides housework. Not a very productive schedule day, but a very productive cleaning day. The FD got toned out to half a dozen calls yesterday. Collin & Denton counties both posted: "Grass fires EVERYWHERE". It was easier than posting every single individual grass fire. There were even several structure fires in the mix along w/ the usual med calls & MVAs. All the FDs were very busy last night. Yesterday's Sims game was the Graveyard part time job. My Sim Daniel was already a mature adult so I didn't send him off to the university, but his wife was younger so she went on a distinguished communications award. She graduated w/ a perfect grade, gained the bookworm trait, unlocked the video game developer career, gained the irresistible trait, went home & quit her job as a firefighter & became a video game developer. Benni is going to seriously help supplement Daniel's part time income. The FD got toned out to 3 more calls today. I was completely unconscious through the 1st 2 after going to bed somewhere around 4:30a & although I wanted to make the 3rd one, I couldn't because I was working. When I did finally wake up (Oh am I sore from all the work yesterday!) I took the dogs out, went through the mail, & checked my AT&T page. My Sims game of the day is Caravelle, a house I built & put in Bridgeport. This is still a brand new game, apparently all I did last was create the game & have my Sim get a job. Being a brand new game makes it perfect for her to go to the university towards a phys ed degree, come back, get a job, succeed well, then start a relationship later in her life. See, I used to make sure Sims met their significant other in grade school if they were born in-game, or at work if they're 1st gen & already an adult. They would marry & have a child A.S.A.P. Since the University Life expansion pack though, I changed everything. Now they go directly into the university, get a degree, get a job, & work that job as well as they can until they age up into a mature adult ... THEN they start a relationship, get married, & have a child. This game is easy because it's new. Other games that are already well in already have children involved, so even though the Sim goes straight into the university when I load up the game, they still can't work too hard at their career when they get back because there's a baby to take care of. University Life kinda changed my outlook on Sim life (& real life).
Hi! Billy Mays here with a fantastic new product! Just kidding this is Kyle... So................ I thought it would be cool to write a bit in my mothers blog. For those of you who care I enjoy Biking, Marching band, politics, debate, and fandoms. chances are, if you like Doctor Who then I like you. I love technology and am a Boy Scout. Now before you get all but-hurt about the Boy Scouts, i would just like to point out that while I am a Boy Scout, I do not agree with the decision made with the executives. I feel that in order to fight the decision made, I must stay in the program to make my voice better heard. Some people did not like the decision so they dropped their positions as leaders. This is absolutely the worst thing to do. While you may be making a point by quitting, now your giving the opposition a free fight. Anywho, thanks for listening and until next time, Aloonsy!
For special occasions, apply your makeup earlier in the day & touch it up before you leve. It'll look more natural, & you'll be less rushed when it comes time to get ready.
Hannibal of Carthage used 1 of history's earliest biological weapons: his army threw clay pots filled w/ venomous snakes onto enemy ships.
Hurdle a series of office chairs set up along an office corridor.
I know a lot of you are from out of town who are in Burbank. After the show, I've been plugging this restaurant only because it's one of the weirdest little restaurants we have out here. It's on Burbank's famed Restaurant Row - Vinnie Abruzzi's Little Touch of newark. I warn you it's a rough place. They not only take MasterCharge, they also take Blue Cross Blue Shield.
I see restraining orders being lifted, but keep your distance anyway. In fact, I see the tables turning in your direction & you getting your very own stalker. Congratulations! You're somebody now!
