Good morning & happy weekend! Yesterday was a good day. I made a bagel for breakfast & then the FD got toned out to mutual aid at a structure fire in a neighboring town (pic) & I REALLY wanted to go to that one but couldn't because Kyle was home & I was stuck here at the house. I checked my AT&T page, worked on my Cabled Classic Gray Afghan, checked out one of the FD medical forms we used to or still use, changed my stationery in Outlook (although I hardly ever send e-mail anymore), sat down & watched a movie on Amazon prime, had Italian bread for Lunch, took the dogs out, & then sat down to work on my Cabled Classic Gray Afghan again. I really love that pattern. I love hand knitted afghans too & for some ODD reason I've only ever made ONE. They SO soft & beautiful. I like them better than crocheted afghans. Why did I only ever make one? I have NO idea! I knit as fast as I crochet, so that's not it. I enjoy knitting as much as I enjoy crocheting, & I like the finished product much more. Oh well, who knows why I do (or don't do) half the things? Yesterday's Sims game was 1001 Hilldale Dr. by Curtis Paradis & my Sim Zoey went to the university to get a business degree. She's been going to classes. This morning I took the dogs out & decided to try the vanilla V2 cartridge. Not bad! I actually like the flavored ones ... at least the vanilla. I wasn't sure how my mind would take smoking something that it knows should be eaten, but it seems to work pretty well. If I like the vanilla this much, I wonder how much I'll like the chocolate? I can't wait to try it someday. I'll also probably buy more vanilla cartridges, I think I like the flavor enough to actually buy a pack of 5 cartridges which is equivalent to half a carton of cigarettes. While I'm outside w/ the dogs I have an old-fashioned cigarette. I explained to Pete & Kyle that for me it's like this ... traditional cigarettes are old-school & I love old-school. It's what I know. It's what I grew up with. It's familiar. THEN AGAIN, the Gemini dual-personality in me also loves new-school ... bleeding edge technology. E-cigs are new-school. I smoke e-cigs in the house & in the truck, but 3x a day while I'm outside in the back yard w/ the dogs, I'll enjoy an old-school cig 'just because'. LCFD training on Tuesday.

Country w/ the most tattoos is the U.S.! Fewer people w/ tattoos, but more tattoos per person.
E-mail around the office a bracketed betting pool for the Little League playoffs & World Series.
Grapes turn into wine & apples into pies unless you let them fall to the ground & they become a pile of crappy mush attracting bees. I say this because w/ the influence of Venus, your life could be a big pile of crappy mush this weekend. Don't even get out of bed if you can manage it.
If you can't sleep, ponder this: in 1964, scientists kept a high school student named Randy Gardner awake for more than 11 straight days. He then slept for 15 hours & resumed his normal wake & sleep cycle w/o any ill effect.
