July 22, 2013

Good afternoon! Yesterday was normal ... usually following a perfect day is a WTF day & that's what it was. I didn't get too much done yesterday. I made sausage for breakfast for Pete & I, hand knitted & completed the back of the sweater I'm making (1st pic), updated all my accounts in Quicken, worked on the Inkle loom & finished the Celtic green & orange strap (2nd pic), cleaned the shower, & then tried play some Sims but Pete & Kyle got home from the other house in the middle of it. Yesterday's Sims game was the Culinary career & my Sim is still in grade school. He's mastered the cooking skill on the toy oven & is now selling his baked goods at his roadside stand for cash. This morning I was woken up very early & after only 4 hours sleep I decided
to stay awake. Glad I did, because I managed to vaporize 4 hours that I normally would  have been asleep with Ancestry.com. In 4 hours I've made it through 8 generations, all the way to Holland, & there seems to be no end in sight yet as to where this will start to run out of information. I was researching all the way until Kyle called for a ride from the college, which by the time we got home was the time I was SUPPOSED to get up for the day, so now I'm officially starting my day, on time for when we went to bed. Yesterday I moved the flat screen TV from my crafting room into the bedroom & now we can watch TV in there on a great TV w/ great sound. Since I'm either at the Inkle loom table or the knitting machine table in the crafting room, I found that watching a movie on my iPad works just fine & I can have it on the table right in front of me no matter which table I'm at which is better than having to turn my head 90° to see the TV where it used to be. it's all good now. :)

Some believe the source of the continuing problems in many places around the world is the dominant social paradigm of outside-in. Each involved group is convinced the problem is "out there" & if "they" (meaning others) would "shape up" or suddenly "ship out" of existence, the problem would be solved.

What do you think the hot new franchise trend is in the country? Condom stores. I'm telling you, they're all over the country. And the names - they have names like Condomania, Condomrageous, Comdomnation, & 1 opened in Burbank this week. It's called Bob's One Size Fits All Boy. -Johnny Carson 1991
