HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! And yes, I'm watching ID4 today of course. Right now I'm rocking out to Lunatic Calm & plotting the move in 1 year to Moore, SC. One of the things I have against Princeton, TX is that it's Hotel California. I've been told by more than 1 person that you simple CAN'T get out of this place. The school teaches you the bare minimum & when you graduate you're barely able to hold a minimum wage job locally in town ... if not you go onto the Welfare system. So many people WANT to leave, but can't. They can never save up
enough money to escape. This is where my plan for Moore helps Kyle. Upon his graduation he'll have GOOD options: Join the military & get out or come with us to Moore & go to college which also means he gets out. He's not trapped here like the rest. He's got the ambition to get out of here & I'm going to help him. I'm so proud of Kyle! If he chooses to come to Moore w/ us he can work part time in Spartanburg while he goes to college. Anyway, we have 1 year to offload the house in Branch, sell the 1 acre in Branch, use that money to overhaul this house & then put it on the market, sell it, & move to Moore. It's going to be great! When we move to Moore we're getting a LARGE storage unit while be build a large storage building in the back of our property, then we'll transfer all our stuff from the storage unit to the storage building, & our house will be "normal" in the way that we won't have the clutter we have here. Pete & I both have a lot of "stuff" & most of it needs to be accessible in nearby storage but not IN the actual home. When we move it's going to be done RIGHT. :) Yesterday not much got done. I spent most of the day with a slight cold & just wasn't moving too swiftly. I also spent a lot of time plotting this move ... setting up searches in Moore on a job site & on Realtor.com. I eventually finally had an Eggo for breakfast at 3:30p, cleaned the house, surfed eBay & am dealing with a bad seller who I bought a jar candle from that arrived poorly packaged & shattered. The seller 1st wanted me to mail it back at my expense & then they "guess they'll send me another one". Then they offered a "partial" refund. Nope, I'm out $8+ & I still have no candle. FULL REFUND or nothing. I have to wait until eBay is done counting down the 3 business days so I can escalate this to a claim & see if eBay grants me my money back. Once that happens negative feedback will be left for 1) Not leaving positive feedback upon immediate payment & 2) Poor packaging & 3) Refusal of a full refund, making eBay force a refund on their behalf. After eBay I checked facebook & took my game turns for the 1st time in a week, the FD got toned out to a MA EMS call in a neighboring town which I have an issue with, & then I worked on my Interlocking Filet after finishing another section of the Broomstick Lace afghan (2nd pic) while watching X-Men. When Pete got home from work halfway through the movie, I finished watching the movie & then we talked about reinstating our Netflix account. YAY! Nighttime routine & bed. Yesterday's Sims game was Bentbrook Farm & my Sim is at the university working on skills & going to classes. I finally caught up on sleep last night & woke up around 12:30p today. I finally feel well-rested, but obviously I'm not going to get much done today. That's OK though because after all it IS a holiday & Pete's home from work today! So far I've taken the dogs out & updated the apps on my iPad Mini & iPhone 5. Again, Happy Independence Day (4th of July) & while you're grilling & setting off fireworks, remember to be careful & not accidentally start any fires & also remember the REAL reason for the holiday. It's not called "BBQ Day" or "Fireworks Day", it's called "Independence Day" for a reason. Enjoy, but remember the real reason WHY you're enjoying.
4th of July in Burbank isn't a big deal. You just drive by & throw a cherry bomb in Jack-in-the-Box's mouth & that's about it for the whole day. -Johnny Carson 1973
Actors who've played the role of James Bond top 10:
- Barry Nelson (TV production of Casino Royale)
- Bob Holness (radio voice)
- Sean Connery
- Roger Moore
- David Niven (Bond spoof)
- George Lazenby
- Christopher Cazenove (BBC TV production)
- Timothy Dalton
- Pierce Brosnan
- Daniel Craig
As our nation celebrates its Independence, you should reflect on your many blessings, like the freedom to cross state lines to buy fireworks & the right to have your face digitally blurred when you're hauled away to jail on the 6:00 news (for things like transporting fireworks across state lines ... ).
Concentrate blush on the apple of cheeks, the part that puffs out when you smile.
Human will is an amazing thing. Time after time, it has triumphed against unbelievable odds. The Hellen Kellers of this world give dramatic evidence to the value, the power of the independent will.

There was no "U.S." in the Declaration of Independence of 1776. The nation actually formally came into being 5 years later when the 2nd Continental Congress ratified the Article of Confederation.
