Good morning! That pic to the left is my crafting bench in the living room. It's what I hang WIPs on & it sits between my chair & the sofa. As you can see, I have a lot of new projects ... most all of those are at only 4%. Well, yesterday I learned not to make faces at the camera at DPS. "Go stand over there & smile at the camera" ... I walk over to the backdrop & since the lady was filling out paperwork, looked at Kyle & said "I should make my DL photo look like this ..." & then made a really goofy face. The SECOND I made the face ... ::: FLASH ::: I freaked. I didn't know the thing was on a TIMER! I thought she had to finish writing whatever it was she was filling out & then press a button. DO OVER! She looked at the pic on the computer, laughed & told me to go back over & do it again. HAHAHA! I would have gotten to play Sims for a long time if it weren't for having to go to DPS, because Pete got home JUST as I was ready to get into Sims. Damnit! Gotta wait a week now before I can play non-stop. Yeah, I load Sims daily, but it's just about 5 minutes total of game play thoughout the day in between all my other stuff. I don't really just SIT THERE & play except for Thursday nights (when I'm not at DPS). Other than the long wait at DPS & the loss of a solid hour or more of Sims time for the week, yesterday was good. I got the mail, schemed on a business idea & got all excited until my brain inevitably took a turn towards the liability side of things & I ended up telling myself; "not worth it", chatted w/ Pete, made a cheese omelet for breakfast, started cleaning the house & then had to stop to get Kyle from school & race over to DPS ... renewed my license, got Kyle his permit, let Kyle drive all over Lowry Crossing on the way home (he did great), then finished cleaning the house, surfed eBay, checked facebook & took my game turns, played a quick game of Poker Tiles on my iPad Mini, made sure the dinner link worked on my personal Website & fixed a link error there, decided to go to Sbarro for dinner the next time I actually GET to dinner while the mall is still open (HA!), took the dogs out, thought "SIMS TIME!" & then Pete's car pulled in the driveway. CRAP! Not that Pete got home, but the timing ... ugh ... the TIMING! Yesterday's Sims game was a brand new one I started up for gardening. I created Xanadu ... a born saleswoman who is eco-friendly, has a green thumb, loves the heat, & loves the outdoors. Her lifetime wish is to have the perfect garden. She likes cookies, custom music, & the color spiceberry. She's a Virgo. I started this game off in the winter. She can't garden in the winter, but by the time spring rolls around she'll have her degree & be level 10 in the gardening skill from books which will mean she can plant ANYTHING. She'll have a great garden in the spring! The 1st thing she did was go to the University towards a Science & Medicine degree. She's been going to class, as all good college students do. Today I got up at 9 & took the dogs out & worked on my Bavarian crochet. My Sims game for today is the Lakeside Mansion by Curtis Paradis. My current Sim is Nikki Schmidt who is currently in the University & going to classes. City Council Meeting Tuesday evening @ 7:p.

A man in Phoenix is on trial for reportedly marrying 82 women around the world. I'm not making this up ... The man can say, "Was it good for you?" in 16 languages. ... But being married 82 times is tough. He's starting to see G-spots before his eyes. -Johnny Carson 1983

If someone you love hurts you, cry a river, build a bridge, & get over it. There'll be plenty of time to hire a hit man later. Revenge is sweet. -Jeff Foxworthy

It's not what others do or even our own mistakes that hurt us the most; it's our response to those things. Chasing after the poisonous snake that bites us will only drive the poison through our entire system. It's far better to take measures immediately to get the poison out.
