★ May 20, 2013 ★

Good afternoon! The move Saturday went well & I love how it came out (pic). I did the whole thing primarily by myself, so it took much longer than expected & I'm STILL sore. When it was finally over Saturday night I was in so much pain that I could barely walk. My ankles, back, & feet hurt the most. The room on the bottom left, originally Eve's room, then my office, then my office AND crafting room, is now just a crafting room (YAY!). My TV is still in there, massage chair, knitting machine & Inkle loom. The living room (bottom right) is still where it always was but now with the addition of the yarn box & bookshelves. My office (upper right) is now where the unused dining room used to be along w/ the cat stuff (scratching post, toys, food, etc). Even with all that space, my Bavarian crochet, hand knitting, & Tardis afghan are all STILL in the living room. It's a great set-up though! I think I finished around 3:30a. Sunday I woke up at noon due to going to bed so late the night before & being so physically sore & wiped out. I was still tired, but I HAD to get up. I took the dogs out, chatted w/ Ann-Marie who bought me a bread machine (I missed my bread machine! Thank you Ann Marie!!), chatted w/ Sarah, did some Bavarian crochet, board knitting, made a fried egg sandwich for breakfast, went through the Sunday paper, checked eBay, hand knitted, chatted w/ Pete & Kyle, took a delivery for Kyle, chatted w/ Ann Marie again, made sure the link to Twitter still worked from my personal Website, took the dogs out again, surfed Pinterest, searched for annual deals on athletic wear, & then Pete called with a surprise dinner out & we met at Applebees. This morning Pete called & woke me up at 11:a & I felt SO tired. I didn't get much sleep last night at all. 1st it was too hot, then it was too cold, & Harley is having separation anxiety from his mom & was meowing most of the night. It's just like having a baby again. I had to get up in the middle of the night & feed him because if I leave his food out the other pets eat it all. When I was finally up for the day I took the dogs out, updated the apps on my iPad Mini & put in a John Mellencamp CD. LCFD Business Meeting tomorrow night @ 7:p.

Couple in Missouri got married, & after the ceremony they went bungee jumping in their wedding clothes. Now if you think about it, marriage is a great deal like bungee jumping. I mean, you start out on top, then you take a nosedive, & you're left hanging w/ your pockets inside out. -Johnny Carson 1991

Law Enforcement:
Today's game is the Law Enforcement career. My current Sim is Olivia Breckenridge (1st gen) who just went off to the University on a distinguished technology award.

Law of the harvest governs; we will always reap what we sow - no more, no less. The law of justice is immutable, & the closer we align ourselves w/ correct principles, the better our judgement will be about how the world operates & the more accurate our paradigms - our maps of the territory - will be.

Le Chateau Contreau:
Sunday's game is a beautiful mansion built by a talented other that I placed in Appaloosa Plains. My current Sim is Kyle Marshall (3rd gen) who's friendly, grumpy, a Sagittarius who likes roots music, grilled cheese, & the color white. He's also a genius. Not much to report here since Kyle is still a child & didn't to anything other than eat, go to school, shower, sleep, & work on his logic skill.

Many factors in interdependent situations are in your Circle of Concern - problems, disagreements, other people's behavior. And if you focus your energies out there, you deplete them w/ few positive results. But you can always seek 1st to understand. That's something that's within your control. And as you do that, as you focus on your Circle of Influence you really, deeply understand other people.
