Good afternoon! Good day yesterday. I chatted w/ Pete on the phone, in Sims I built a recreation of my Grandmother's house where I grew up called 40 Summit Ave (1st pic) but didn't upload it to the Exchange because I couldn't figure out how to do it properly. Her house was a pain in the you-know-what to build in Sims! Stairs over stairs over stairs. Her house had a full attic, but the roof was shaped much
differently than I was able to get it in the game. I was never good with fancy roof lines. Additionally, her house also had stairs that had a 2 steps up onto a landing, turn right, go up almost to the top, another landing, then turn right & then 2 more steps up. I've seen people do that in Sims, but they're GOOD ... much better than I am. I never figured out how to do split staircases with landings & turns. Since I couldn't do that properly, I had to redesign the house on the inside to accommodate straight, long staircases which screwed up
the actual layout of the house. It made it bigger than it really was (it was a tiny little house). The basement she had ... well, that was a problem for me too because again I don't know how to do split level staircases & because the house is up on a foundation, there's no way to get to the basement. Again, I've seen talented people do it, & I have several houses built by others who have done it, but I have no idea how it's done. I did try, & I failed miserably. SO ... the house is as close as I could get it, but so many elements of that house are too difficult for me to replicate in Sims. Then Kyle called, Pete called, Kyle called again, Pete called again, & I finally found a moment to have a donut for breakfast (I know, not the best choice, but quick). I cleaned the house, checked eBay & facebook & took my game turns, worked on my Knit Wit EMS afghan, updated another frame on the daily cleaning link on my Website so it has a random background (that's 2 of a dozen), chatted w/ Pete again, took the dogs out, & then sat down w/ Kyle & watched Blade Trinity. It's been a LONG time since I watched a movie. That DVD has been here for a while now & is FINALLY going to be back on it's way to Netflix. During the movie Pete got home from work & then it was the nightly routine & bed. My Sims game yesterday was Maplegrove & my current Sim Michael (1st gen) headed off to the University w/ an apprentice in fine arts. This afternoon, I woke up at 12:30p & was shocked at the time. We didn't go to bed THAT late! WOW! I guess I needed to catch up on some sleep huh? I got the mail, worked on my Bavarian Crochet, Kyle called, then I called Pete, then my Sims game crashed & took my PC w/ it, then Kyle called back, the FD got toned out to a fire alarm but we were disregarded before I got out the door, then my game crashed a 2nd time but I didn't have to reboot the PC this time. Today's game is LizC864 3, one of the houses I built a while back (3rd pic). I had recently stumbled across & downloaded a lot full of REAL cars for Sims (by Real I mean Chevy, Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Volkswagon, etc). The 1st thing I did since this game has 3 cars in it was to swap out all the cars to these new cars. They have Dodge Ram pickup trucks, Volkswagon Bugs, & the one shown in the 3rd pic ... a Dodge Challenger! They've very nice looking, but don't work like the original cars in Sims. The wheels don't spin or turn left or right & the cars shake a lot while they're driving. Whoever created them made them look incredibly great, but wasn't too good at making them actually WORK like the rest of the cars in Sims. They really do look great though. :) Anyway, my current Sim Faith Schlick can't go to the University because she's expecting a child, so she's been keeping busy working on her Athletic skill which she needs for work (she's going to be a master thief). Other than that, happy Anniversary Pete! Just think, 21 years ago today you proposed marriage to me. What on earth were you thinking? LOL! I'm glad you did ... who knows where I'd be today if you hadn't? I'm glad we met & I'm glad we've managed to stay together after all these years. It's pretty rare to find someone who has the same values, beliefs, political views, etc. I guess that's why even through all we've been through, we've managed to stick it out & still be together. Thank you for proposing all those years ago. Glad I was smart enough to say yes! :) My life w/ Pete has brought me to where I am now, to know the people I know now, & I'm grateful for all of it. Everything & everyone in my life right now is thanks to Pete & I having gotten together. I have NO regrets! The Keeper of the Stars.

An exotic dancer named Glenda could pop up from your past. Be prepared because this may cause fluctuations in your power grid &/or marriage.

Fess up, are you addicted to the Internet? Studies on Internet Addiction Disorder show that as many as 1 in 5 people suffer from varying degrees of web dependency.

Integrity includes but goes beyond honesty. Honesty is telling the truth - in other words, conforming out words to reality. Integrity is conforming reality to our words, keeping promises & fulfilling expectations. This requires an integrated character, a oneness, primarily w/ self but also w/ life.

“Best shopping apps.... After you grab the item, price out the competition, and make it through the interminable checkout line, the last thing you want to do is search your wallet or purse for Best Buy Bonanza Card or PetSmart Eternal Allegiance Rewards tag, or whatever they call those slight discount and bonus card items. Scan them into Key Ring Reward Cards, or punch in the numbers if the code is too worn, and you'll always have a backup you can show the cashier to move things along.

● Tips ●
► Registering for an account is not required however it’s highly recommended. Doing so automatically backs up all your cards in case you lose your phone or get a new one.
► If retailer barcode scanner does not support scanning the barcode from the screen simply select the “Won’t Scan” button and present your phone to the cashier. Scanning barcodes from the screen is a limitation with some scanners, not the app.
