Good afternoon! Yesterday was a good day. I made bacon for breakfast, got the mail, cleaned the house, surfed eBay, checked facebook & took my game turns, headed out & of course we got toned out to a MVA, came back & deleted the bead banner part of my Website, had lunch, took the dogs out, went into PSPX5 & created a blinkie for Bavarian Crochet, & worked on my quilt crochet. When Pete got home from work it was the daily routine & then bed. My Sim from yesterday's game made goopy cabonara for dinner & went to bed. The next day she went to the consignment shop & did very well selling a clay sculpture she had made. Sold it for about 50% more than she would have gotten if she had just sold it privately. She cleaned the house, made veggi rolls for dinner paid the bills, spent time w/ the pets, went swimming, took a shower, & headed to bed. The next morning she sculpted until she went into labor. She had a baby boy, Peter Bunch (2nd gen). Peter is good & easily impressed. He's a Libra who likes Chinese music, fried peanut butter & banana sandwiches, & the color white. As soon as Peter was born, Victoria took the University aptitude test & scored apprentice in fine arts & headed off to the University. This morning I took the dogs out & then worked on my Bavarian Crochet for a bit. Yesterday I had run out of Paddy Green while working on my Bavarian Crochet Primaries Afghan, so today I started a new one until I can get to the store & get more Paddy Green. I started working on my Bavarian Crochet Red Heart Afghan which will have a MUCH larger range of colors than just primary colors like the 1st one. Much more interesting to work on & look at. :) There will be 3 Bavarian Crochet Afghans per set. Primaries, Red Heart, & Caron (Simply Soft). Primaries because of the cheaper cost of only needing 9 colors to make it. Red Heart because of the HUGE selection of colors to choose from to make it. Caron because Simply Soft is the softest & nicest yarn to work with & snuggle up to. I just love it! They don't have as many colors as Red Heart though. SO ... We have simple, beautiful, & soft. The same 3 per set also applies to the tote bags which are a combination of the Inkle Loom & Mandala Crochet. I normally NEVER have 3 of the same type of project going at a time ... it's kind of a rule, but I couldn't help myself with these 2 projects. :) While I was working on the Bavarian Crochet, the mail came so I got that taken care of for the day. My Sims game for today is Beechwood Victorian. My Sim Liz is already in the University & so far today she's gone to class, completed a dare to go dumpster diving, & then of course had to shower. Tomorrow is Mother's Day! Here's a hint ... I'd be ecstatic to get YARN! ANY yarn. :D Y-A-R-N!
1st U.S. Mother's Day observances were held May 10, 1908, in Grafton, W.V.; & Philadelphia. Spearheaded by Anna Jarvis, the annual celebration became popular across the country, & in 1914, the U.S. Congress designated the 2nd Sunday in May as Mother's Day.

ABOUT THE TRAINING PLAN - NOVICE 1
This Novice 1 Half Marathon Training Program is designed both for beginner runners who want to prepare for a 13.1-mile race, but also for experienced runners interested in a fail safe program that will help them to excel without making excessive demands on their time.
Novice 1 is designed for newcomers, individuals who have done very little or even no running before. If you are fit enough to finish the Week 1 long run of 4 miles--even if you have to walk the distance--Novice 1 will get you ready to complete a half marathon in 12 weeks.
Before starting to train for a half marathon, you need to possess a basic fitness level. If you are over age 35, you probably should see your doctor for a physical exam, but assuming no major health problems, most healthy people can train themselves to complete a 13.1-mile race.
The training plan assumes you have the ability to run 3 miles, three to four times a week. If that seems difficult, consider a shorter distance for your first race. You can try our best selling Ease into 5K app which will prepare you to run 3 miles three times a week.

Mother's Day is Sunday, right? Have you got the gifts? There's another problem in California. Kids in Beverly Hills on Mother's Day, it's tough. You have to buy a card for the real mother, & 1 for the stepmother. 1 for the future mother, & 1 for the housekeeper that really raises them. -Johnny Carson 1986

Wear more than 1 watch to work.
When you can present your own ideas clearly, specifically, visually, & most important, contextually - in the context of a deep understanding of another person's paradigms & concerns - you significantly increase the credibility of your ideas.
With Mother's Day here (May 12th), make sure your gift follows prison guidelines (if that's the case). Also give Mom the impression you really care before you ask if you can borrow some money from her.
