Good morning! Yesterday was another busy day. It's been one of those WEEKS. Lawson came out & replaced the missing shingles on our roof & will be back on Friday to put new siding & paint on our chimney. Friday is also the day I need to take Kyle to get his permit AND renew my license. Speaking of renewing my license, I have a bunch of paperwork to find. They want everything ... birth certificate, social security card, marriage license ... I think there was more, I need to go look. Illegals have it so easy, walk in, don't speak English, get everything. How do I apply to become an illegal? It would make my life SO much easier! Anyway, after Lawson left I got the mail, chatted w/ Pete, cleaned the house, surfed eBay, checked facebook & took my game turns, headed out for a parts pickup as the FD got toned out to an odor investigation, picked Kyle up from school, chatted on the phone, took Kyle to David's Supermarket, the FD got toned out to a traffic hazard, & when I finally got home I started a loaf of bread in the bread machine & also started 2 new afghan projects; Interlocking Filet Stitch afghans ... 1 in Red Heart & the other in Caron Simply Soft. Then 2 more new Mile-A-Minute afghans, 1 in Red Heart & 1 in Caron Simply Soft. There are always 7 afghan projects going at a time, 2 Bavarian, 2 Interlocking, 2 Mile-A-Minute, & 1 other. Sometimes (like now), there are 8 if you include the knitting machine project which this time is an afghan instead of a sweater. Pete got home early, nightly routine & bed. Today is a normal day so far ... I've taken the dogs out & worked on my Bavarian crochet. Memorial Day Weekend this weekend!

Military:
Yesterday's Sims game was the military career. Michael did what all Sims do at the University (my Sims anyway ... studied & went to class). Other Sims attend keggers & bonfire parties & barely pass. All of mine are straight A students.
Our tendency is to project out of our own autobiographies what we think other people want or need. We project our intentions on the behavior of others. If they don't interpret our effort as a deposit, our tendency is to take it was a rejection of our well-intentioned effort & to give up.
Today's game is Remington, my FAVORITE house that's included in Riverview. I bought a Range Rover for the household & it doesn't have Sim plates, but N.Y. plates in English! Nice vehicle, huh? I hadn't played this game in a long time, so in addition to swapping out the vehicle, I also started this game out in the fall. My current Sim is Michael Jones (2nd gen). Michael is
disciplined & brave. A Libra who likes French music, Dim Sum, & the color spiceberry. When he aged up into a child he gained the mooch trait. So far today Michael has worked on his inventing & logic skills.
Swimsuit season is almost here so it's time to get in shape. So lay off a donut or 2 this week. Guys, get estimates on shaving your back now, don't wait until after Memorial Day. Good Luck.
Tonight's tip is, if you're up on Hollywood Boulevard, walking along & you see a sign reading come in & try Sara Lee - it's not a bakery. -Johnny Carson, 1978

Who ever said that napoleon Bonaparte was short? The French general was 5'6", which was average at the time. They myth probably arose because the French measurement for "foot" was longer than the English one.
You gotta be a man to play baseball for a living, but you gotta have a lot of little boy in you, too.
