Good afternoon! Yesterday Kyle called & then I had to run some stuff up to the school for him, came back & got the mail, made ham & eggs for breakfast, crocheted, chatted w/ Pete, updated dio to include Canasta as one of the few games I play w/ the exception of Sims 3, checked facebook & took my game turns, picked Kyle up from school, stopped at Jack in the Box for lunch, processed a bunch of my inbox items, updated the Inkle loom page on my Website, took the dogs out, machine knitted, chatted w/ Pete, & then it was the nighttime routine & bed. This morning Pete called & woke me up at 9:30 or I might have slept way too long. I'm really not feeling well today, must have been something I ate yesterday & I'm guessing it was the Jack in the Box that got me. I took the dogs out & then drove across town to pick up a bunch of plastic canvas, kits, & yarn. NICE! I had to go twice though because after I got home & unpacked it all, I noticed the yarn was missing. Oops! Luckily it wasn't that far away. When I got home again & finished putting all that away, UPS pulled up w/ my brand new bread machine that Ann-Marie bought me. I love it & thank you! I was hoping it would come with a starter box of bread mix, but no luck. I shopped for quite a while on Amazon & had chosen a BUNCH of bread but when I was checking out, shipping was as much as the items. They were all from 3rd party sellers & none of it qualified for free shipping. Oh well, scratch that order. Luckily there's a free shipping option so after clicking on that I have to re-do the entire order. Well, just re-did the order & they only have 2 of 4 of the varieties I wanted & they came to $30+ even with the free shipping. Forget it, I'll just go to Walmart & get it tomorrow when I get yarn. I checked my AT&T page & got the mail. There's a storm coming in so I'm going to have to close all the windows soon ... at least the ones that don't have a covered porch on the other side of them. Don't want interior flooding due to leaving the windows open, although the breeze feels great right now. Kyle left school early to beat the rain since he's on his bike today. If he gets caught halfway I'll run & pick him up.
Centennial:
Today's Sims 3 game is Centannial. A house I built a while back but haven't played in so long that I had to start over. My Sim is Renesmee (1st gen). Renesmee has commitment issues, she's shy, inappropriate, a natural cook, & charismatic. She wants to be a Celebrated 5-Star Chef. He favorites are mac & cheese, custom music, & the color spiceberry. She's a Virgo. Her furry companion is Christine (1st gen). A Japanese Bobtail cat who's playful, lazy, & friendly. Renesmee went to the University & is going for a degree in fine arts which is what she needs towards her chosen career. So far she's been working on her cooking skill & is awaiting her 1st day of class which starts tomorrow.
Law Enforcement:
Yesterday's Sims game was the Law Enforcement career. Olivia Breckenridge is at the University on a Distinguished Technology Award & has been going to class & studying hard.
Moving along the upward spiral requires us to learn, commit, & do on increasingly higher planes. We deceive ourselves if we think that any one of these is sufficient. To keep progressing, we must learn, commit, & do-learn, commit, & do-& learn, commit, & do again.
To fix hat-head, bend over & shake your head a few times. Then run your fingers through your hair to add volume. For even more body, mist a natural-bristle brush w/ hairspray, bend over & brush lightly from underneath.
