Good morning! We were up way too late last night & I was tricked into getting up way too early this morning. Not happy ... not awake. This is going to be a rough day. I'm very concerned about the mailbox thing. Yes, I had a victory yesterday in finding the person who took it out & then took off, but now I'm having NO victory at home. Pete keeps putting it off. He was all fired up to go find the person the night it happened, then changed his mind & wanted to just go to bed. Then he was all fired up about finding the person 1st thing in the morning when it was light out, the he changed his mind & just wanted to sleep in. I found the person on my own. I called S.O. & they confronted him & got him to confess. Then Pete was all fired up to go buy a replacement post & get it put in. Then he "worked late" ... again. I had to chase the mailman down to get our mail because they will NOT deliver mail to a mailbox that's sitting in the grass next to a shattered post. Then Pete was all fired up to purchase the parts online & go pick them up this morning when we drove Brandon to work. Then he suddenly said buying online is the "HARDEST POSSIBLE WAY TO DO IT!" WTF?! Then we drove Brandon to work & he didn't want to get the parts even though we were AT Home Depot. Tomorrow is going to suck. I'm going to have to do this by myself. I'm going to have to drive to Home Depot AFTER Pete goes to work, buy the parts out of my $100/week which is going to leave me flat broke if not in debt, dig the hole by myself in triple degree heat, mix the cement, put the post in, pour the cement, bolt the mailbox to the post ... this is REALLY going to suck! I need a YOUNG & strong boy toy. I'm getting too old for this shit. I hope my FD is ready for a heat stroke related med call tomorrow, because they're probably going to get one & it's probably going to be me. God, please don't let me pass out & fall into a fire ant mound! Anyway, yesterday I made ham for breakfast, showered & then cleared my iCloud e-mail, watched a movie, & then knitted the Celtic Knot Afghan until Pete got home from work. Yesterday's Sims game was Lombardi & my Sim Yvette is in the university on an apprentice science award & has been going to classes. Today's Sims game is Bridgeport Heights & my Sim Robert is at the university going for a science & medicine degree. He's gone to the meet & greet & has been working on his science skill.
