Good afternoon! I got some FD stuff done yesterday which was nice. It's been a while since I've been able to participate & help them out w/ anything. I missed it. I had a donut for breakfast, updated all my apps on both the iPad Mini & the iPhone 5, cleaned out a folder on my PC & made more room by 1st updating all my Saved Sims games back onto the flash drive & then going way way way down, many subdirectories & finding an old AOL mail file from Outlook that was HUGE & deleted it. I no longer get my AOL mail in Outlook, so it didn't need to be there taking up many gigabytes of space. AOL mail works best in the AOL client, which no longer works, so I went to the 2nd best option which is Web mail. I cleaned all the pet's bowls & made sure they were all full, & then sunk down into the sofa to work on my favorite craft, Bavarian Crochet (pic). This is my Brite Bavarian Afghan & it's coming along nicely! It's about 1/7 complete & when finished will be queen-sized. Pete & Kyle did more work at the other house yesterday & then came back, unloaded the truck & then Pete replaced the belt on the mower & mowed the yard. It looks much better, but it was SO hot outside yesterday. Can't mow at 3:a when it's cool outside though. I mean, we CAN, but the neighbors just might have an issue with that (understandably). Last night & today Kyle seems to be forgetting who's in charge around here & whose house it is. There may be a not-so-friendly reminder today if he keeps up the attitude & gets in my face just 1 more time. Respect has been an issue for many years & I'm real tired of it. Yesterday's Sims game was LizC864 1 & my Sim Hazel has been going to classes. This afternoon & took the dogs out & then picked Kyle up from band. When we got home I started up the White House game in Sims & My Sim (Mr. President) Michael is in the university on an apprentice Business Award which will help him in his political career. Milligan Water Meeting tonight.

"Absolutely by far the best app! A company was NOT listed and I 'suggested' it and in less than 2 days I had an email that it was added and they even tried it out to be sure it worked! Fabulous!!!!!" -- by KKDollface on Feb. 18, 2012
"I've only used it 3 or 4 times, but I love it! My husband got it and it's been a Godsend to him. He is very hard of hearing and sometimes he misses what number he is supposed to press for his particular problem when he has to choose from 8 or 9 different options. He often ends up choosing the wrong one and ends up back at the beginning with all the numbers being listed to him again. He would often hang up in frustration or wait for me to do it for him. So this app is more than just a time saver. Thank you so much!" -- by Janet H. on Jan. 25, 2012
"GENIUS! This app saves time and relieves headaches. This is what customer care should be … companies wait on you, not the other way around." -- by Bryan B. on Nov. 10, 2011

Henry Ford discovered that black paint dried faster, so he required that all Model T cars be painted black to speed up the assembly line.

Reading the paper today, there were 2 side-by-side headlines. One said, "NBC Announces Its Fall Schedule." The other one was, "The FDA Okays the Use of Halcion." Isn't that redundant? -Johnny Carson 1992

Win-Win ... it's a total paradigm of human interaction.

Your family is on a cross-country road trop when you spot a tornado ahead. It's hard to tell how far away it is, but it's getting bigger quickly. You:
a. Do a U-turn & try to outrun the storm in your car.
b. Get everyone out of & away from the vehicle, then instruct them to lie down in a ditch & cover their heads.
c. Pull over under the nearest overpass, turn off the engine, & tell everyone to get down on the floor of the car.
Answer: b. Even weak tornadoes can pick up cars. If there's clearly time, try to find a sturdy building in which to take shelter. If not, get out of the vehicle. The thing that hurts or kills most people is debris, so you want to be as low to the ground as possible. Overpasses offer no protection. If you're unable to get out of the car in time, keep your seat belts on & the engine running. That way, in the case of a direct hit, your air bags will activate & help cushion you.

Your lucky words this week are: stink bait, shampoo, & bucket head.
