★ August 26, 2013 ★

Good afternoon! It's may day off! 1st 1 after putting in 7 days straight. Whew! Yesterday I made a fried egg sandwich for Pete & I for breakfast, showered, & headed off to work. Pete & I were at the booth all day & the best thing happened (besides making sales) ... I moved (1st pic)! I'm no longer in booth I-13. I-13 was a much larger space, but it was in the secondary building with no lights, no power, no cross-breeze. Now I'm up in booth I-8 in the main building w/ much better neighbors, lighting, classic rock, a great cross breeze, power, etc. My
new booth is not only smaller, but it also houses the doorway to the bathrooms, making it even tinier. I can't block the door, nor can I block the pathway to the door. This severely limits my square footage that I can use for sales, but it's still worth it for all the added benefits over the old space. Pete & I did take a lunch break at Wendy's, stopped at Office Depot for some needed supplies, & then picked Brandon off from
work, dropped him off at home, & then went back to work at the booth. Overlapping jobs ... yay! LOL! When we got home I cleaned the front porch & then made dinner. Another perfect day. Yesterday's Sims game was Winter Retreat & my Sim Kyle is in the university towards a technology degree. He's been going to classes & working on his skills. This morning I took the dogs out, chatted w/ Pete, received a package & processed that ... thank you Ann-Marie for the gift! I love it! She bought me a shower curtain w/ speakers in it & a waterproof pouch to hook up anything from an iPod to an iPad. It looks large enough to hold a laptop! You can rock out to tunes, watch a movie, make & receive phone calls ... all from within your shower. Uhhh ... no, I will NOT do facetime while I'm in the shower! I chatted w/ Pete again (not from the shower), IM'd w/ Paul, & got the mail. Today's Sims game is a new one called Padronale di Gerrard. It's a HUGE mansion (2nd pic) that would only fit where central park was in Sunset Valley. I moved Central Park to a remote location in Sunset Valley that has to access roads to it, a fishing lake up in the mountains. It was either that or put the house up there, but with no access points, getting to work on time would have proved impossible. I would have had to run down the mountainside to the nearest road before being able to drive anywhere. So, people of Sunset Valley, sorry to move your park, but this mongo mansion is every square foot of a 64 x 64 lot! Every time I look at it, all I can think of is "Mexican drug lord mansion". HA! My Sim is Aaron (1st gen) & he has a green thumb, is a great kisser, equestrian, dislikes children, & is grumpy. His lifetime wish is to have the perfect garden. He likes frog's legs, custom music, & the color Irish green. He's a Virgo. His furry companion is a Pomeranian named Lenny who's neat, hyper, & skittish. Aaron moved into his $617,556 mansion & BAM! He had completed his lifetime wish without ever doing a thing. To my surprise, this mansion came with more than 8 perfect quality plants in multiple gardens throughout. I swear I didn't know! This is my 1st time playing this house & my Sim was created at random as all my Sims are. His lifetime wish being completed as I started the game was just luck. Although, he has incredible pre-made working gardens to keep up with, doesn't need to go to the university OR get a job as the fruits of his labor will more than pay for everything. He's at day 1 of his life & he's retired except for taking care of the gardens. Hmmm ... all that's left is to find a girl, get married, & have a child to continue the family line. WOOHOO! As an added bonus for him achieving his lifetime wish, the very 1st thing he did in his life was get the mail ... there was an Omni Plant waiting for him. For those of you who don't know what an Omni Plant is or what it does, it will grow ANYTHING you want it to. Anything. Steaks, anything. It's actually pretty damn cool! I have no idea what I'm going to use it for. I haven't decided yet. A stereo plant? A steak plant? A TV plant? LOL! What would produce the MOST income? I'm going to have to think about this for a long time before I plant it. This is by far already one of my favorite games! I might skip the random daily game thing for a while & just play this one. I love it! I'm going to have to make this a gardener's game though because it would be a complete waste to let these gardens die because future generations are off doing other jobs. After getting the mail, Aaron went straight to work in the garden & worked it until he had no choice but to stop for the day. He's smelly, tired, hungry, & had to pee. After a full day in the garden he didn't even finish taking care of ONE of the gardens on the lot. This is really bad because if he can't keep up, plants will begin to wither & die. A huge waste considering the large variety of plants & the perfect quality. He better get married FAST just so he has help! Gardening on this lot is a full time job for more than 1 person. Had I known this from the start, I would have created at least 2 people to live there.

-This app or the "Camp & RV" app?
Although Camp and RV has a "tent" filter for this data, you may not ever need RV stuff. This app shows only places that take tents. Even boat and hike-in ones. Camp & RV has more than 4 times the points of this app because it has both tent camps and stuff tenters may not need. The other app has RV only parks, truck stops, rest stops, RV dealers, low clearances, parking lots and much more.
-CAMP & TENT HAS 2 MODES:
-Map view: uses GPS and maps to plot up to 150 points at a time. Starting from your current location, you can zoom out and in or jump to anywhere in the USA and Canada. This mode shows everything. Filter the map to view only what you want: KOA, Forests, BLM, or maybe REI stores.
-City lookup: View text info by state and city. Only looking for State Parks? Find them without internet service!
-WHAT'S IN IT:
-Over 19,500 Campgrounds: (US & Canada)
-KOA
-Private
-State Parks
-National Parks
-BLM
-National & State Forests

-Even primitive hike-in/boat-in/rough road spots that other apps exclude. Every point has coordinates, address or directions and phone. 98% have amenities and official website links.
-Expanded detail view lists all amenities. RV amenities are included because it gives you a idea of what to expect. When tent camping, you may want to find the smaller more primitive places with less RV focus. This is a good indicator. Amenities include open season, rate range, sites, water, showers, toilets/restrooms, tables, pool, playground, laundry, pet-friendly, firewood, boat launch, seasonal sites and internet access.
- PLUS Outdoor Supply Stores:

Parts of this app will always work and provide useful information. The data is stored on your phone while the app uses GPS, so constantly calling upon a website for information like other camping apps do is not necessary. This is great for improving speed when you’re in remote places.

I think the election headquarters are upstairs, right? There's a topless bar in the same building. ... According to the newspaper, they've been trying to force the topless girls, dancers, out by shutting off the heat. Now, I don't know what the big fuss is all about anyway.
