Good afternoon! Holy crap am I tired. Went to bed at 4:30a last night. LOOONG weekend. Saturday I chatted w/ Pete on the phone, went up to the Onion Festival in Princeton for breakfast & took a look around w/ Kyle & Sarah, got the mail, surfed eBay, planted more flower seeds, TRIED to go to the station & get some work done but ended up having to abort mission because of Kyle, TRIED to do what I could
from home but Excel FUBAR'd on me & then finally gave up. Sorry guys! Kyle & I went to KFC for lunch & stopped at Michael's on our way home, I took the dogs out, quilt crocheted, & then went through my yarn stash in the yarn room (yes, there's an entire room full) & randomly chose a storage bin, pulled it out, sorted all the yarn that was in it, had Kyle & Pete each choose their favorite from that bin, then
swapped out those 2 for some yarn I had in my office queue that's the "next to use queue". My Sims game for Saturday was Diamond, a house I had built a while back. My 2nd gen Sim is on his way to becoming a World Renowned Surgeon & for the entire 4 game days I played he had no time to do ANYTHING other than eat, sleep, shower, & work. His mom, Marisol, was a vampire & a young one at that ... she mysteriously died at work & that's not the 1st time I had a vampire just die on me for no reason that I could see. Very odd. The last thing I did in the game Saturday night was have a birthday party for Elizabeth (3rd gen). She aged up into a child & gained the hot-headed trait. Sunday we slept late, it's
the day we catch up on sleep for the week. I took the dogs out, worked on my bead banner, board knitted, went through my Avon that was delivered, made a bagel for breakfast, went through the Sunday paper, surfed eBay, hand knitted, latch hooked, machine knitted, made a cheeseburger for lunch, took the dogs out again, & then went onto Ravelry & discovered a new craft. I know, just what I needed, right? It's
called Mandala Crochet (5th pic). The patterns & the color combinations are endless & I have MORE than enough scrap yarn to make these. I can't wait@! Google Mandala Crochet & click on Images. You'll be amazed. I love Sundays because they're the 1 day I'm NOT usually working & it's my crafting day. I started a new Sims game on Sunday. 44 Elm Ave (2nd pic), a beautiful Prividence-style home built by a talented other. I love it! Lots of room to expand, too. There's a basement, a spare room on the main floor, a 2nd floor, & a full unfurnished attic which I already started using when my Sim needed a workout bench (1st pic). My 1st gen Sim is Ferris, an absent-minded, neat, heavy sleeper who's never nude, & equestrian. His lifetime wish is to be a CEO & he likes peanut butter & jelly, custom music, & the color aqua. He's an Aquarius. His furry companion is Zach, a Bedlington Terrier who's quiet, likes swimming, & is playful. The 1st thing Ferris did was join the business career where he met Iliana Langerak who he married. They're pregnant & adopted Voxel, a Schnoddle puppy (don't ask me). Ferris learned gardening, made waffles for breakfast, & went to bed. The next morning he made autumn salad for breakfast, showered, worked on his athletic skill (1st pic), cleaned the house, & went to bed. The next day he chatted with someone on the PC, cleaned the house, made pancakes for breakfast, & spent time with the pets. That's where my Sunday & 44 Elm Ave left off. Pete & I did a lot of work into the night after all the other stuff & we ended up going to bed at 4:30a. This morning I woke up briefly, started up my PC, let the dogs out & went straight back to bed. I couldn't even focus yet & I had a splitting headache. When I woke up again not too long ago, I updated the apps on my iPad Mini, downloaded a new one called Knitsy, & here I am. Calls & IMs returned & still half asleep, but here I am. Today's BOA meeting has been postponed until next Monday @ 7:p & the LCFD is honoring one of its founding members, Glen Eastham, who has recently passed. The viewing is at Turrentine Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home tonight from 7:p-9:p.

I bought some of those biodegradable garbage bags that, you know when they come in contact w/ sunlight, they're supposed to fall apart? That's true. As opposed to the kind I usually have that fall apart when they come in contact w/ the garbage. -Johnny Carson 1990

Inspect the home at least once a year. Before buying a home, buyers often hire a professional inspector to ensure the home is safe & sound. But the inspections shouldn't stop once buyers sign on the dotted line. To prevent flooding, homeowners should inspect their home's foundation for cracks once a year. If the home has a chimney & fireplace, check for cracks there as well. If any cracks are discovered, consult a professional immediately.
