Good afternoon. I am SO tired ... didn't get enough sleep last night, but I had a wonderful day. I cleaned the house, surfed eBay & decided to list the beautiful Lindsay Top Knit Pattern (3rd pic), checked facebook & took my game turns, made Chunky Soup for lunch, made sure the link to my Pinterest page was working on my personal Website, set up Google+ on my iPad Mini, took the dogs out, & then traded PSPX5 & Sims for working on the Inkle Loom. I took off the 2nd learning project I had on there & began my 1st REAL project.
I call it the Golden Triad (5th pic). I named it that because of the colors used in it. It's mostly a golden yellow with a blue stripe & I'm using pink to weave with ... a color triad on a color wheel. I'm not 100% sure what it's going to be turned into when it's completed. It'll be a 7' long strip that measures 3½" wide. My best guess at the moment is that it's going to be a project bag. After a bit of woven panel Origami it'll
be sewn into a tote bag that I'll use to store 1 of my projects that I'm working on. I worked on the Golden Triad Tote Bag project for several hours & then took a shower break & then back to the project while watching live coverage of the fertilizer plant explosion in West, TX. until Pete & Kyle got home. Then it was the nighttime routine & bed. Yesterday's Sim, Nikki took a trip to the Consignment shop & bought some gems & metal & sent them off to be cut & smelted, cleaned the house, spent time with the pets, worked on her athletic skill, & then headed off to bed. When she woke up she had a birthday party & aged up into a young adult & gained her final trait ... never nude. She worked on
her charisma skill & then invited Miguel Hawkins over to get to know him better. That's were we left off. To the left is my name tag for the FD. In over 3 years on the department, I never had one. I'm finally somebody! LOL!! This morning I took the dogs out, worked on my bead banner a bit, & chatted w/ Pete on the phone. For
today's Sims game I started a brand new game. It's in a house I downloaded from a talented other called Glenwood Cottage (2nd pic). I placed this home in the city of Bridgeport & created Faith (1st gen). She's handy, a mooch, insane, a technophobe, & a heavy sleeper. her lifetime wish is to be a gold digger (to become the widow of a rich spouse). Nice huh? Damn. She likes pancakes, custom music, & the color pink. She's a Cancer. She's a technophobe & coincidentally there are NO electronics in Glenwood Cottage. None. I had to buy her a laptop so she could get a job because the trip into the city & back to do it would have taken all day. This house was listed as a 4 bedroom, but there are only 2½ (the ½ is because the 3rd bedroom is really a nursery with a single bed in it which only counts as a ½ bedroom to me because a married couple can't sleep on a single bed & there isn't enough room to easily upgrade to a larger bed). Faith's furry companion is an Akita who is non-destructive, piggy, & quiet. The 1st thing Faith did (after I bought her a laptop) was get a job in the military career (good for her because she has the handiness trait). Being on the laptop gave her a negative moodlet due to the technophobe thing. Once she secured her job, she went outside to work in the pretty garden that comes with the home & earned herself level 1 of the gardening skill. Then it was time for me to buy her a treadmill & place it in the small reading room on the 2nd floor after a bit of rearranging to get it to fit in there. She worked on her needed athletic skill until she reached level 1 (a skill also needed for the military career). The Princeton Onion Festival is this Saturday & so is Denton's Jazz Festival which is where I'll be with Pete.
Drinking tea, as well as reading tea leaves, has its roots in the Middle East & the Orient, like most of the top 10 tea-drinking countries in today's list.
Insulate heating ducts. Some home heating ducts are under the basement floor. In such homes, homeowners should make sure these ducts are properly insulated & watertight.
Interesting article in the paper today, survey they made, that more youngsters in this country, including both boys & girls, are having sex earlier in life than they did 25 years ago. In the early teens. Boys are having sex in their early teens. I don't know. I'll tell you, when I was in my mid-teens I hadn't even had French toast. -Johnny Carson 1990
It's 1 thing to make a mistake, & quite another thing not to admit it. People will forgive mistakes, because mistakes are usually of the mind, mistakes of judgment. But people will not easily forgive the mistakes of the heart, the ill intention, the bad motives, the prideful justifying cover-up of the 1st mistake.

What a difference an 'e' makes: you can distill "whiskey" anywhere, but authentic "whisky" can only be made in Scotland. Well, at least according to the World Trade Organization, but who listens to them anyhow?
