Good morning! Already I see differences, I used to have my default font sent to something specific but now it's back to whatever the Web page uses. Part of repairing my PC was having to create a new firefox profile since my other one was corrupted. All of my settings are gone. Even my persona is gone, my weather bar across the bottom ... I don't even remember how I set all that up. Oh well. I guess it'll run faster without all the bling anyway. I made biscuits & gravy for breakfast since Kyle was home from school & had him get the mail for us while I was cooking. After breakfast I processed a book from my inbox, cleaned the bedroom mirror, dusted the bar stool, did the dishes & cleaned the kitchen sink, dusted the living room lights, mopped the utility room, processed 2 more books from my
inbox, fed the pets, & swept the hall. I surfed eBay the best I could on a F'dU PC & then decided I'd be more productive just crafting today since any graphics intensive site was out of the question such as eBay, facebook, or Pinterest. I figured out the Inkle loom finally & love it! Since I've never done this before I decided it would probably come out all screwed up, so I wasn't worried about using fancy yarn or anything. Once I got it all set up (3rd pic) I was
shocked at how perfect it looked! I was even more excited now & couldn't wait to start weaving. I still expected the weaving part to not go perfectly since again, this was my 1st time EVER. Once I started weaving I was again shocked at how great it was coming out (4th pic). I love this thing! Just what I needed, ANOTHER hobby! THANKS ANN-MARIE! This is all YOUR fault!! (She built the loom for me & sent it to me). I found out that I will most likely be making these MUCH wider in the future. I have 7 rows of yarn & after it's woven it's barely an inch across. Not even an inch. I'm making myself a belt with this one & now that I know how it all works, I'll be making much wider belts & tote bag straps in the future. I'm making tote bags in plastic canvas & these will make perfect straps for those! I never dreamed I'd be making home-made belts for myself either. This is SO COOL! Again, thank you Ann-Marie!!! I love this loom & I love this new craft! Love it, love it, love it! :) I had to literally
force myself to stop weaving or I could have done it all night (quite literally). That's the OCD in me popping out. Set a timer to stop or I WON'T stop ... ever! LOL! I decided that since my PC was still way too hosed to do my eBay business or facebook, that I'd work on my personal Website since I can do 99% of that offline. I opened up Animation Shop (it's been a LONG time), PSPX5 (been a while for that too), & NotePad++ (never used it before but Pete installed it last night for me). I had a blast! Programming, creating, & animating all at once. My brain missed the workout. I created 35 animated blinkies for my Website (5th pic), 1 for each interest of mine. Most of the links aren't active yet & those will be a constant work in progress, but the main page is completed & looks great! Hours ... literally HOURS creating, animating, & programming. It was great! When my Internet is down I get a lot of really cool stuff done OFF the Internet. I'll tell you though, it's all I can do to not just say "screw it!" &
the entire day today working on the Inkle loom & take breaks by working on my Website. Who knows, I'll probably do what I usually do & trade today's craft for working on the loom. As long as I'm crafting, I'm happy. It doesn't REALLY
matter which one I'm doing. My favorite at the moment is good enough & for now that's the Inkle loom. Ann-Marie, you know me well! She should ... we've been best friends since FIRST GRADE! She knows me better than anyone with the exception of my husband Pete who has lived with me for the past 20 years. :) The next time we're out, I'm going to buy all the solid brass belt buckles I can get my hands on. You know, the ones you can get at the Army surplus stores (6th pic). This way I can attach them to the new belts I'm making on the loom. They're only about $4 each. I'm probably going to have to double the width of what I'm currently working on to fit in this buckle properly. YAY! New belts & LOTS of fun making them! That's a 2-fer! When Pete got home he fixed my PC (again). Now that all the malware & spyware was off the system (& it was still hosed), he found that both the java was corrupted AND my firefox profile. Once he reinstalled java & created a new firefox profile, everything was fine. I'm tempted to pretend it's still broken & get back on the Inkle loom. LOL! My Sim had a good day yesterday too. This was my medical field game ... the house of doctors. My 2nd gen Sim was still in high school so when I had him practice chess which improves his logic skill (needed for the medical field). He's up to level 8 of 10 now. Not bad for a high school student! He played chess for a little while & then cleaned the house, checked the mail & paid the bills, spent time with the pets, played chess some more until it was time to make mac & cheese for dinner, & go to bed. When he woke up it was his birthday! He blew out the candles & aged up into a young adult. Threw out his homework & gained the charismatic trait. He immediately got on the PC & joined the medical career where he met his new boss ... female. FINALLY! Looks like he's going to marry his boss. Very common in my games if they don't meet someone in school, which he didn't. This morning after taking the dogs out I loaded up Tahoe Pines (2nd pic), a house I built for Sims. My 2nd gen Sim is Michael Shallow. He's a loner, friendly, a Libra who enjoys pop music, vegetarian dim sum, the color grey, & is a snob. He's currently in grade school & his dad has just passed away due to old age (his mom married an older man). The last time I played this game was pre-Seasons, so I started them off in the spring this morning. Michael did his homework & then went fishing for a while. Today is an old friend's birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) & Monday is my best friend's birthday (watch your mailbox at your house Ann-Marie, you have birthday presents on the way)! I didn't have your P.O. box set up anywhere in Amazon & couldn't ask you for it without you knowing what I was up to. The gifts can arrive anytime between now & a week from now. With any luck, they'll arrive ON Monday. :) Let me know when they get there!

President was on TV tonight, I'm sure you know, w/ his new simplified tax program. It's going to work pretty good. When you get your paycheck, you just sign the back of it, & send it in. -Johnny Carson 1985
Rats can't vomit, so they're easy to poison. They can't burp or have heartburn either, actually.
Reflection of the current social paradigm tells us we're largely determined by conditioning & conditions. While we've acknowledged the tremendous power of conditioning in our lives, to say that we're determined by it, that we've no control over that influence, creates quite a different map.
Sharpen your short-term memory. 1st, eliminate distractions like TV. Then organize the data you're committing to memory so that similar facts aren't grouped together. For instance, if you're trying to memorize 2 phone #s, you're more likely to succeed if you focus on a different type of task in between.
