June 8, 2013

Good ... afternoon. Well, in 3 minutes anyway. Yesterday I didn't even make it to lunch. I chatted w/ Kyle, then w/ Pete, then cleaned the house, then chatted w/ Pete, then surfed eBay, then chatted w/ Pete, then chatted w/ Ann-Marie, then checked facebook & took my game turns, then chatted w/ Kyle, then chatted w/ Andrew (God I was friggin' popular yesterday!), then went to pick something up that I bought here in town, then sat down to Watch the new Footloose & work on my Knit Wit afghan but the phone kept ringing & then Pete came home, so I never
really got to do that. From a perfect day to a WTF day overnight. Funny how that happens. Yesterday's Sims game was Small Steps Daycare & my Sim Vinnie went off to the university towards a business degree. He worked on his logic skill between going to classes. We stayed up really late last night because Pete wanted to watch TV, so I woke up late this morning & never heard the FD getting toned out to a commercial fire alarm call before dawn. When I finally work up & took the dogs out & did my banking for the week. Today's Sims game is Mediterranean Villa (2nd pic). My Sim Ugene Boston (2nd gen) just headed off to the university on a distinguished fine arts award. Today is my mother-in-law's birthday!

Fairs & festivals are everywhere this time of year. For you gals, I see a funnel cake in your future. Eat half now & put the rest in your purse for a rainy day.

Famous Hollywood sign originally read "HOLLYWOODLAND." It was an advertisement for a new housing development in 1923. It was supposed to be up for only about a year & a half, but it became the symbol of the American cinema industry, & was left up.
