Good morning! Early morning for me, I got up at 7:a. This happened once before & I got all excited thinking it was going to be a perfect day & then everything went to crap. I shouldn't get my hopes up & although I don't really believe in "jinxing" something, I can't help but being a little nervous about being excited & hopeful for today. Not only did I wake up at 7, but today is also a very light day for me schedule-wise. In fact it's the lightest of all days. Wish me luck! Yesterday I made eggs over easy for breakfast & got the rare
double yolk. Sweet! I got the mail, cleaned the house, surfed eBay, checked facebook & took my game turns, worked on my Interlocking Filet Stitch crochet, picked Kyle up in Princeton, updated the Inkle Loom page on my personal Website, decided to have Chopsticks Asian Cafe deliver lunch & then Josh came by for a visit & hung out for a while, 2 hours later after Josh left, I called Chopsticks, they delivered, & we finished eating, I took the dogs out & worked on my Mile-A-Minute crochet while watching Dirty Jobs S1:E2. My Sims game yesterday was Coventry & my Sim Piper Whipple went to the university on a distinguished fine arts award. While she was there she mastered the guitar skill & is now working on her logic skill. Today I've taken the dogs out & then updated the apps on my iPad Mini while adding the IMDb app. Today's Sims game is Hemingway & was the 3rd oldest game out of over 100. It was pre-seasons, so I started this one off in the spring. My current Sim, Piper is pregnant, so she can't go to the university until after the baby is born. My mother-in-law's birthday Saturday!
Ancient Romans invented the 1st crude form of air conditioning when they circulated water through the walls of houses using an elaborate system of aqueducts.
Another one of these little filler items in the paper - a funeral home in Jackson, Mississippi, is going to start performing marriages. A funeral home is also going into the marriage business. They already have some pretty snappy slogans: From Buying the Ring to Buying the Farm. And: From Cupid's Harp to Hard As a Carp. -Johnny Carson 1990
Chirp! Bird Songs USA:
Chirp! The original app for identifying and learning bird songs - and still the best!
Part nature guide, part feel-good pick-me-up! Listen and learn 263 bird songs and calls from across mainland USA*, with up to 34 seconds of song for each bird, and alternative recordings for some birds. The songs and calls are of the highest quality, provided by the world-famous Macaulay Library at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
Chirp! includes features for both novices and experienced birders. Birds can be arranged in order of commonness, so you can listen to the most common ones first, then move on to less frequent backyard visitors. Experienced birders can use the custom quiz to help distinguish and learn similar songs.
On first use, Chirp! selects birds for your current location, but then you are free to select any area of the United States on the Map Screen, to learn the common species from east to west and north to south. Or you may prefer to select all birds to learn the whole range! Try sorting by song style, so that you can compare birds that hoot and coo, or those with high pitched songs for example. Make a shortlist of your favourites so that you can find them quickly (tap the + icon above the image to add birds to your favorites list).
After listening, try the quiz to test your memory. Answer fast to earn a score multiplier and get on the high score table!
And when you need a rest, try the slideshow feature - choose which birds to include, maybe add background bird song, then simply relax :).

Tea bag was invented accidentally by tea merchant Thomas Sullivan in the early 19th century. Instead of costly tins, he used silk bags to mail samples to prospective customers, who mistook his intention & started brewing tea in the bags.
