1st Day of Summer 2013

Good morning & happy summer! I learned that I do indeed have SABLE ... Stash Acquisition Beyond Life Expectancy. Yep, that's me. I have more yarn than I'll ever be able to use in my lifetime, but that doesn't stop me from trying ... or from buying more yarn! Today is the 1st day of summer w/ an expected high of 95° & a heat index of 97°. Triple-degree days are right around the corner now. Yesterday I made French toast for Kyle & I for breakfast, cleaned the house, went through the mail, surfed eBay, chatted w/ Angela on the phone, checked facebook & took my game turns, did day 5 of fireproofing my marriage, worked on my Interlocking filet stitch crochet afghan & updated the photos & progress of 3 afghans
(2nd - 4th pics) while watching Highlander (screenshots 5-7), chatted w/ Pete on the phone, added a previous project to my hand knitting page on my personal Website, made a cheeseburger for lunch, took the dogs out, & then Pete got home from work & we did our nighttime routine. He wasn't tired so I stayed up MUCH later than I wanted to because I had to get up early for work today. Yesterday's Sims game was the #1 downloads & my Sim Efren Jr. is in the university towards a technology degree & is
going to classes. This morning I managed to wake up on time right before my alarm went off which surprised me considering I've hardly gotten any sleep the past 2 nights in a row. I took the dogs out, made a bagel for Pete & I for breakfast, showered, & headed off to work. When I got back & cleared the e-mail in my Yahoo mailbox. Today's Sims game is my Inventor career & my Sim Lewis had a birthday & aged up into a young adult & then headed off to the university on a distinguished technology
award. He's been working on his skills.

Because we already live w/ many scripts that have been handed to us, the process of writing our own script is actually more a process of "rescripting," or paradigm shifting - of changing some of the basic paradigms that we already have.

On this longest day of the year your hair may revolt. If you're having a bad hair day, look at the bright side, I've known people who've had bad hair years. Try not to have a bad face day.

You know whose birthday it is today? Daniel D. Tompkins. Anyone know who Daniel D. Tompkins is? He was the 6th vice president of the U.S. Of course you never heard of him, that's why he took that job. He's famous for being unknown. They once put his face on a postage stamp, but they put it on the glue side. -Johnny Carson 1984
