I hope everyone had a good, happy, & productive day yesterday. My day was good, Kyle came home from school & did all his chores, all Josh's chores, & a couple from the list below the daily. He was super-motivated I guess. When Josh came home after work he did a 2nd load of dishes which got us caught up with the exception of 2 very large items that need to be hand washed. I didn't put up any Christmas lights yesterday & that wasn't from lack of time, it was from lack of wanting to go outside & mess with the lights. :) I did manage however to dust the misc. dining room decor & kitchen lights, fold some laundry, dust my office lights, & water the flowers outside. Just as I finished that, Pete came
home for lunch in my truck (his brakes are still out in his car) & drove Josh to work. That gave me 2½ hours alone in the house to load up Sims! I finished one of the bathrooms in Wothington & then loaded up a beautiful mansion built by a very talented other called Le Chateau Contreau. The game picked up in the fall with a cold 39° at 4:a. I'm not having much luck with the Sims that live in this house. My 1st gen Sim that was created for this house died trying
to repair a time machine that she invented, her husband refused to ever sleep the last couple of game-time weeks so I kicked him out for being useless (kept using my current Sim's bathroom & getting the toilet & shower dirty but refused to clean it because he was in a permanent state of "too tired", made messes in the kitchen, left dirty plates all over, etc. I deal with that enough in real life, in the game ... I evicted him from the household. His son (, the ONLY Sim working in this huge expensive to maintain mansion, is doing well, but his son's wife, Mariah Lio, who didn't work ... refused to ever work on ANY skills, refused to teach their child Kyle Marshall (3rd gen) how to talk, walk, or potty train, so I was unable to choose a skill for him when he aged up to school age, & she kept refusing to clean anything in the house. She was ALWAYS too tired, too hungry, her bladder was too full, of she would just ignore the command as soon as I left the house with Ivan who, as I said, was the only one with a job. So ... I kicked HER out of the house. She was useless. That leaves just Ivan Marshall (2nd gen) & his son Kyle Marshall (3rd gen). The only 2 productive members of the household that used to be 5 people. Kyle Marshall is friendly, grumpy, a Sagittarius who likes roots music, grilled cheese (yum!), the color white, & is a genius. Because of his genius trait he's most likely going to be a doctor when he grows up & has already started working on his logic skill. Whenever he has free time, he plays chess on the computer. This big beautiful mansion has everything, but no chess table. I think I may buy one. I like to leave houses like this original, but a chess table would fit in so nicely with the decor of this beautifully decorated place. At 3:30p, Kyle came home on the school bus. He went to work on his chores & I crawled into my massage chair to play 5 Card Slingo & work the kinks out of my back. After 15 minutes of de-kinking, I checked eBay & then knitted another gold wide panel on the knitting machine. I checked the mail & Twitter, then sorted through a week of AOL e-mail which is mostly PSP graphics, frames, & tubes. I got a lot of pretty Christmas stuff but didn't create or share anything this week. When Pete got home we had a quick dinner, watched Hawaii 5-0 & then went to bed. I woke up to my new alarm, Living Earth & as advertised it woke me up to my playlist of songs & I enjoyed having it on all night while docked in the alarm clock. I got to watch the sunlight on the earth with the cloud cover in real-time. I love this app! LCFD training tonight. Unfortunately not only do I not have my truck, but I'm also taking care of 2 people with food poisoning. You think they would have learned their lesson watching me go through it recently, but nope! Josh & Kyle are both not feeling well. Josh has it a lot worse than Kyle because he ate more of the bad food.
Ask your husband or friend for a 10-minute back rub. (OH YEAH!)

Answer: B. 6.
Indy 500 champ Hélio Castroneves wins "Dancing with the Stars" (2007):
On November 27, 2007, the Brazilian racecar driver
Hélio Castroneves and his partner, professional ballroom dancer Julianne
Hough, win the fifth season of the TV show "Dancing with the Stars."
The runners-up were former Spice Girl Mel B ("Scary Spice") and her
partner, dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy. After his victory, Castroneves
returned to the Indycar racing circuit, but his good luck did not hold:
though he finished second overall in the 2008 season (and fourth in that
year's Indy 500), in 2009 the racer found himself in federal court,
charged with conspiracy, fraud and income-tax evasion.
"Dancing with the Stars," the American version of the hit BBC series "Strictly Come Dancing," pairs celebrity dancers with professional partners. Each week, the teams perform a specific dance—the mambo, the foxtrot or the paso doble, for example—for a panel of judges. The judges give the dancers a score; meanwhile, in typical reality-show fashion, viewers may also vote, and one pair of dancers is eliminated each week. Castroneves faced a motley crew of celebrity competitors, some better known than others: the actors Josie Maran ("Melrose Place"), Jane Seymour ("Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman"), and Jennie Garth ("Beverly Hills, 90210") along with entertainers Marie Osmond and Wayne Newton and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.
Though he had won back-to-back victories in the Indianapolis 500 race, in 2001 and 2002, it took "DWTS" to make Castroneves really famous across the United States. "When I'm in the airport people recognize me now," he told a reporter after his victory, "but I never know if it's for my racing or my dancing." (It's probably for his dancing: 25 million people watched the "DWTS" finale in 2007, and only about 5 million watch the Indy 500 each year.)
In 2009, the IRS accused Castroneves of failing to pay more than $2.3 million in taxes on almost $6 million in licensing fees from his racing team, Penske Racing. In April of that year, a jury acquitted him of the fraud charges and prosecutors decided to drop the others.
Castroneves won the Indy 500 again in 2009.

Precocial:
Capable of a high degree of independent activity from birth.
The mallard is a type of precocial bird that can often fly independently just 1 day after hatching.
"Precocial" & its partner "altricial" are commonly used to describe the young of our feathered friends. The chicks of precocial birds can see as soon as they hatch & generally have strong legs & a body covered with find down. "Precocial" traces to the Latin precox, a term that means "precocious" or "early ripening" (yes, that root also gave us the word "precocious"). Ducks, geese, ostriches, pheasants, & quail are among the birds that hatch precocial offspring. Altricial chicks, on the other hand, are basically featherless & helpless at birth & require days or weeks of parental care before becoming independent.

C. Queen
D. Ace
