Dinner was amazing last night. I can eat again! I made chicken breasts in the slow cooker with rosemary, cream of chicken soup (not diluted), mozzarella & Parmesan cheeses. It was SO tender that it just fell apart as I was serving it. I had taken out steak knives, but we didn't need ANY type of knife. WOW that was good! I served it with stuffing. For tonight I have baby carrots, diced potatoes, & a big chuck roast in the slow cooker with thick beefy mushroom soup (not diluted) & a packet of Omaha Steaks steak seasoning. It smells even better in here now than it did last night. Today I made up for the day off I was supposed to have last week but no one bothered to tell me until 7 hours into it. Then I drove Josh to work, came back & went on a mutual aid structure fire in Branch, came back & started the roast. I worked on the staircase for LizC864 11.
Since I don't have the talent &/or patience required to do a split level staircase, I just went ahead & put in a spiral staircase instead. Boy am I glad they added these, they are SO handy! I've had several homes in the past that were supposed to have a split level staircase & before they added the spiral staircase, I would end up modifying a LOT of stuff to put in a regular staircase that was twice the length that the split level would have been. That's rough,
because it ends up splitting half the living room, you loose kitchen space, etc. After that I loaded up my Diamond house that I built. My 2nd gen Sim is easily impressed, friendly, a Libra who likes Pop, fruit parfait, & the color lime, has no sense of humor, wants to be a world renowned surgeon, & thanks to him making that choice while he was young, I then gave him the genius & workaholic traits which will both help greatly in his chosen field. He married Abigail Kelsey & they had a daughter named Elizabeth (3rd gen). Their last name is Christian, so this Sim is named after me completely. :) She's athletic (I used to be ... as a teen I rode my bicycle everywhere & by everywhere I mean all over the whole county & if it was summer I was at the lake & in the water swimming from opening until they dragged me out of the water. Well, OK ... they didn't have to drag me out, but I was definitely the LAST one out), & she's easily impressed (I used to be too but then I realized that 95% or more of what impressed me was just a lie anyway. You'd be surprised ... the more people brag, the less likely it is that it's even true), she's a Libra (my mom is), likes french music (Mmmm ... not really. If I'm in France then OK, but I'm not listening to it here), likes frogs legs (YUCK!!!), & the color white (White isn't a color. White is white, colors are colors. Just check the back of any laundry detergent, they'll explain the difference). DST Sunday at 2:a.

Gwendolyn Graham is sentenced to life imprisonment
with no possibility of parole for killing five elderly female residents
of the Alpine Manor Nursing Home near Grand Rapids, Michigan. Both Graham and her criminal and romantic partner, Catherine Wood, had been employed as nurses' aides at the home.
A Texas native,
Graham moved to Michigan in 1986 and found employment at Alpine Manor.
Catherine Wood, Graham's supervisor, had recently divorced and soon
became her lover. Before long, Graham enlisted Wood's aid in a brutal
scheme: the duo decided to kill people whose initials would spell out
the word "murder" when the spree was over. The first victim, however,
fought back harder than expected so the pair abandoned the "initials
game" and instead began focusing on the weakest women in the nursing
home. According to Wood, Graham suffocated her victims with a washcloth
while Wood stood guard as a lookout.
Reportedly, Graham and Wood often boasted about the murders but
colleagues did not take them seriously. Wood claimed that in April 1987,
Graham challenged her to "prove her love" by murdering someone. When
she refused, Graham dumped her for another woman and returned to Texas.
Wood, who later claimed that she was concerned that Graham would
continue her killing spree in the South, confided in her ex-husband
about the murders.
The story of the women's exploits reached the police in late 1988.
The deaths of five elderly women, who were originally believed to have
died of natural causes, were then investigated by police officers.
Although authorities could find no direct physical evidence linking
Graham and Wood to the deaths, they were both arrested in December 1988.
In return for a reduced sentence of 20 to 40 years, Wood agreed to
testify against Graham. Graham was convicted of five counts of
first-degree murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with no
possibility for parole.
