My pc is still hosed. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with it ... I've got my PC Building & Repair cert, you think I could figure this out on my own. What they didn't cover well in the class was diagnostics. They teach you exactly how to build, repair, or replace what you KNOW needs to be done, but when a pc just hoses itself into oblivion without warning, then what? Everything was fine ... I was in Outlook checking some new mail that had just come in. It was garbage, so I right clicked to delete it. Right click ... flash. Right click ... flash. The right click menu was only flashing on the screen for a split second. Hmmm .... fine! I know where the delete key is & I'm not afraid to use it. There's more than one way to delete an email. DELETE. It ignored me. Delete. Delete. Delete. WTF? Fine. Byte me. I know where the reset button is, too. Probably time for a fresh reboot. I rebooted the pc & that was the last I ever saw of it. It never came back up. It would only power up & then have a black screen with a white underscore blinking in the upper left corner. I tried several times. It's hosed. I'm going to try to swap out the memory 1st. That's the cheapest thing it could be. If it's anything else I'm screwed. It's a full blown gaming pc ... there's NOTHING in that pc that's cheap to replace. I won't even tell you what the graphics card costs. The motherboard? HA! Stupid expensive. The case alone is a High Air Flow gaming case that cost me a small fortune. Well for now I've got my HP laptop & it's being good to me. The only thing I can't do on this laptop is 2nd Life, Paint Shop Pro, & Sims 3. Not because I tried & they failed, but because I haven't tried. It seems like a lot to put on this poor little thing & I don't want to kill it. It would be like trying to pull a full-sized RV with a Yugo. You probably could ... very slowly & carefully, but not up a hill & why do that to the Yugo? We'll see. If my pc problem becomes more of a long term problem, I might consider trying to install some stuff on here. Anyway, considering I couldn't do any of the larger hobbies yesterday like Paint Shop Pro or Sims 3, I was able to finish everything else. EVERYTHING! Even went to be 15 minutes earlier than the day before. HA! Of course that's not good news. That means that I have too many things I want to do in a day & there's no way I can get them all done assuming my pc is up & running. I went to bed with 15 minutes to spare & that was without PS or Sims 3, both of which take TIME. So what goes? Nothing. I can split things up. MWF, TuTh, etc. I can't do everything every day, but I can do everything every week. I'm going to avoid that for now though, I don't like rewriting my schedule because I like it the way it is. I have decided however to remove 2nd Life. It was cool, but for it to be completely cool. would have cost me $10/month & I can't justify that cost. I'm more of a Sims 3 person anyway. LCFD Training tonight.

Monocracy:
Government by a single person
After years of subjugation under the dictator, the citizens of the country rose up against the oppressive monocracy.
In society's search for the best kind of government, the suffix "-cracy" (which means "form of government" & traces to Greek kratos, meaning "strength" or "power") has worn many hats. "Monocracy" pairs "-cracy" with a descendant of monos, meaning "alone" or "single." the suffix also underlies other governmental terms, including "democracy" ("government by the people"), "aristocracy" ("government by a small privileged class"), "theocracy" ("government by divine guidance"), "ochlocracy" ("government by the mob"), & "gerontocracy" ("rule by elders").

Penguins defeat Capitals in marathon hockey game (1996):
On this day in 1996, the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Washington Capitals, 3-2, in 139 minutes and 15 seconds of total game play, making it the fifth-longest match in the history of the National Hockey League.
A regulation hockey game lasts 60 minutes. According to NHL rules, playoff matches aren't allowed to end in a tie, so teams must keep going--in sudden death, 20-minute periods--until someone wins. In theory, an NHL game could go on forever with no one winning, although this has never happened. On April 24, during Game 4 of the conference quarterfinals match up between the Penguins and Capitals, the game went into a fourth overtime before Pittsburgh's Petr Nedved scored the winning goal with less than a minute left in the OT period. The Penguins ultimately won the series in six games and advanced to the next round, where they defeated the New York Rangers in five games. However, Pittsburgh ultimately lost the Eastern Conference Finals that year to the Florida Panthers, in seven games.
The longest-ever NHL game took place on March 24, 1936, when the Detroit Red Wings beat the Montreal Maroons, 1-0, in six overtimes for a total of 176 minutes and 30 seconds. Mud Bruneteau scored the winning goal. Hockey's second-longest game involved six overtimes between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins on April 3, 1933. Toronto won the game, 1-0, in 164 minutes 46 seconds. On May 4, 2000, the third-lengthiest match, between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Pittsburgh Penguins ended after 152 minutes and 1 second, with the victory going to Philadelphia, 2-1. Dallas, Texas, was the site of hockey's fourth-longest game, when the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim defeated the Dallas Stars, 4-3, in 140 minutes and 48 seconds.

Performing a Shoulder Press with One-Leg:
A Shoulder Press while standing already adds the element of your abdomen and legs for stability while you perform the motion; doing a Single Leg Shoulder Press makes your body work even harder.
Whenever you stand on one foot, your abdomen automatically contracts. Your entire leg has to work hard to stay balanced, and that makes your abdomen and glutes work hard in addition. By doing a Single-Leg Shoulder Press, you will be working your whole body as you perform the motion.

Winning with money is more about behavior than it is about math. Don't get me wrong, you need to crunch the numbers too. But all the mathematical components are just theory unless the behavior kicks in.
